MP Sheerman now complains about Labour's 24 hour drinking!
Huddersfield Labour MP Barry Sheerman appears to have changed his mind and does not now think the introduction of 24 hour drinking-which he voted for- is such a good idea.
''Neither do I'' commented Conservative Parliamentary Candidate Karen Tweed.
''With this naive policy Mr Sheerman and his friends have inflicted Huddersfield and the rest of the country with:
''increased binge drinking and the resultant anti-social behaviour;
''an increased cost to the taxpayer for additional Policing;
"an additional strain on NHS resources with hospital staff dealing with drunkenness and increased violence.
If the Conservative Party wins the next General Election, this is an issue I know will be looked at very closely.''
